Frequently Asked Questions

This is your relative’s home, so you are free to visit them in their room or any of our communal areas. You can even join them for meals or activities if you would like.

We don’t have set hours for visiting, you are free to visit when is convenient for you.

We also regularly host events which you are welcome to attend.

Our rooms come fully furnished but we encourage people to bring in personal items and small pieces of furniture that will help to personalise the room to their tastes. We encourage people to bring mementoes that are important to them, such as photos and personal treasures, pictures and ornaments. This all helps the person to settle into their new home.

The dining experience is an important one and all our food is cooked fresh on-site by our chef. We change our menu every week and consult with residents about what they would like to be included.

We also cater for any special dietary requirements.

We have lots to do locally and our Activities Co-ordinators make sure there are opportunities to go out and about and trips wherever possible. Again we encourage relatives to come along.

We have dedicated Activities Co-ordinators who put on a full programme of activities including entertainment, group activities, trips, themed events, visits from the community and also 1-2-1 activities. We take time to find out about your interests and, if possible, cater for the. We also encourage people to try something new!

If a resident is in need of medical care we have access to local GP’s, out of hours GP’s or Care Plus Group’s Rapid Response Team. We can arrange transport for hospital appointments if needed.

We have our own hairdressing salon and hairdresser that visits regularly.

Yes, children and babies can come and visit, we just ask that parents ensure that they do not disturb other residents.

Yes you are welcome to bring pets to visit, however we do ask that they are taken to the resident’s room.

The cost depends on the type of room and also the type of care provided. Options can be discussed with our Home Manager.
