As part of Care Plus Group, we have strict policies to maintain rigorous quality controls and standards at Fairways Care Home.
Our approach to quality covers a few key areas including maintaining accredited quality systems, investing in our staff and ensuring a service user focused approach to the running of our organisation by maintaining our employee owned status.
The wider Care Plus Group has been accredited to the ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard as well as the ISO 27001 Information Security Standard. As part of the group we maintain these standards, and several group wide quality control systems.
Our care home is a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered service, and is inspected and rated on a regular basis.
At Fairways, our staff are selected for their positive and sensitive attitude.
We believe in investing in the training and development of our staff and so building a happy and well trained team that deliver the highest quality of care to our residents. This is reflected in our low levels of staff turnover, which helps us to provide a consistent team caring for our residents.
Since Care Plus Group is a Community Benefit Society, the organisation and its services are owned by the employees – not shareholders or directors.
This means that any profits that we make at Fairways are re-invested back into the development of our facilities and services, rather than being paid out in dividends. Fairways is run for the benefit of our residents and our community, with the feedback of our staff, our residents and their loved ones at the forefront of everything we do.
